So we attended the Asian Culinary Forum Talkin 'Bout My Generation event this past Monday. Among the four panelists was the very quotable and likeable Dennis Lee, Chef & Co-owner, Namu. We were compelled by his passionate distinction between authentic and traditional. So tonight we visited his Richmond district restaurant. Now we understand what he meant. You need to go to Namu with no expectations and don't ask what kind of food it is. Because it's just not going to fit neatly into any preconceptions or categories that might be familiar to you. Go in with no expecations other than to amaze your taste buds and you'll have a great time. It's obvious everyone there pours their heart into what they do and that shows up in the flavor. Check it out. These are some snaps from my phone. Enjoy.
