Last weekend I participated in Patrick Hamilton's (board member and chef at SOMAmushrooms.org) mushroom foraging class held at Salt Point State Park on the Sonoma coast. Patrick is one-of-a-kind and a gentle soul who happens to be world-class knowledgeable of mushrooms. This morning I cooked some of the treasures I found tromping around in the woods with Patrick.
